What is actually in your Vesper piece

Every Vesper Collective product uses one of two material systems - and that is it. No mystery alloys, no plating that flakes, no nickel that turns skin green.

316L Marine-Grade Stainless Steel

The same alloy used in medical implants and submarine fittings. Composition: Iron + Chromium (16-18%) + Nickel (10-14%, bound) + Molybdenum (2-3%). The molybdenum gives 316L extreme resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion. Nickel-safe and hypoallergenic.

18K Gold PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition)

Real 18K gold bonded to the steel core under vacuum at 400C. We thicken the coating to 1.5 microns minimum — three times the 0.5 micron industry standard for PVD jewelry. Will not flake, peel or fade in normal wear.

What we DO NOT use

• Brass cores (cheap, oxidises green)
• Electroplating under 0.5 microns (worn off in weeks)
• Mystery alloys without ISO certification
• Anything that cannot pass the 30-day test
